In French, Arabic, English or even Japanese, poetry is the art of painting with words, of creating beautiful imagery out of letters and metaphors. I, myself, dabble in poetry. Writing it soothes my mind, and helps me cope with whatever life throws in my way (Like the news that Game of thrones will only run for two other seasons or my friends eating a huge pizza when I’m trying to lose weight goddamnit!).

Tbh, while reading your blog, I've always skipped the "Poetry Sunday" thingy, never was a big fan of poetry hhh but now you gave me a boost tp start reading them!

Great article... Indeed they are inspiring poets of all time... I was wondering Miss Houda whether those verses of Nizar Qabani and Mahmoud Darwish are translated by you, or someone else?
